Dr. Martinelli’s certification is accredited by the Missouri State medical Association and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and the Institute for International Medicine.

Dr. Martinelli, who directs the nation’s only multidisciplinary Forensic Death Investigations & Independent Review Team, is the only police practices expert in the country to hold this prestigious forensic medical designation. Dr. Martinelli specializes in complex officer-involved shootings, in-custody deaths and civilian self-defense shooting death cases.
